Tim Robinson, of course, performed on Saturday Night Live for one season in 2012-2013 before getting promoted to the writing staff.
Robinson went on to co-create Detroiters with Sam Richardson after departing SNL in 2014, before joining I Think You Should Leave.

The Season 38 opener with host Seth MacFarlane was Robinson’s debut episode as a cast member.
Along with Aidy Bryant and Cecily Strong, Robinson was one of three new cast members, making this a very fascinating freshmen class.
In their first episode, Bryant and Strong each featured in one sketch, while Robinson appeared in five, the first of which was a talk show about sex after 50, where he played a punchline boyfriend to MacFarlane.
What is Tim Robinson doing now?
Robinson is currently unemployed, although on March 1, 2022, it was announced that he will co-star in Andrew Gaynord’s single-camera pilot (Stath Lets Flats).
Robinson and Kanin met on Saturday Night Live and are best known for the cult Netflix comedy show I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson, which premiered its second season in July.
